Native ads are a type of ads that match the form and function of the website upon which they appear. They blend seamlessly with the rest of the page's content, not really looking or standing out as ads.

Compared to traditional display ads, native ads tend to have an editorial look and feel and provide a softer seller approach. Typically they consist of the following elements: static image, headline, body (description), brand name, and a Call-To-Action.

Format Guidelines

To consider

  • Keep in mind that publishers always have the last saying about editorial discretion on their websites - images can be resized, descriptions, and/or CTAs shortened or hidden.

  • In Match2One platform, you will be able to adjust an image added to your native ad for the most popular aspect ratios separately - this way, we make sure you have control over how your ads will be presented across different widgets.

Creating Native Ads

You can create your native ads through Creative Studio, or during the campaign creation. If you choose the second option, your ads will be automatically added to your Creative Studio for possible future use.

Creative Studio:

  1. Navigate to Creative Studio, and click the ''Create'' button.

  2. In the drop-down menu, select the ''Create Native Ads'' option - Native Ad Creator will open.

  3. Give your ad a name, upload an image, and add a headline, description (optional), brand name, and a CTA (optional). For a CTA, you can select one of the options in the drop-down menu or add a custom text. Once you add different elements, you will see your native ad as a preview to the right. You can also adjust the added image for different aspect ratios of the widgets your ad is going to appear on.

  4. When you're ready with your native ad creation, click the 'Create' button in the top right corner. Your ad will be added to your Creative Studio if there are no errors on the way (check Format Guidelines above).

Campaign Creator:

  1. Start with opening Campaign Creator by clicking the ''+ New Campaign'' button in the top navigation bar. Select the 'Native' channel in the 'Campaign Strategy' step, and then navigate to the 'Creatives' step.

  2. Click the ''Create'' button and in the drop-down menu, select the ''Create Native Ads'' option - Native Ad Creator will open.

Your ad will be added to your campaign and Creative Studio if there are no errors on the way (check Format Guidelines above).
