  • We do not keep your personal information unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

We who operate the website Match2One.com (the “Website”) and its services (the “Services”) are Match2One AB (“Match2One” or “we”), a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden with reg. no. 559036-6836.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and website visitors. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) informs you of our policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure and protection of your personally identifiable information. Please read this Policy carefully before using the services provided through the Website.

1    PERSONAL INFORMATION

1.1 First thing’s first – what is “personally identifiable information” or “personal data”? It is all information through which you directly or indirectly can be identified. For example: your name, your address, your personal number, your IP address, your login information, your e-mail address and any other data through which you can be identified. In this Policy, we call it “personal data” in short.

1.2 If you wish to use our Service, we will ask you to provide certain data, such as your name, a chosen user name, your phone number and your e-mail address. When using the Services, we furthermore continuously collect data about your use thereof, such as your company’s ad campaigns and how you use the Services. All of this is considered personal data and this Policy describes why we collect it and how we use it, as well as your rights. 

1.3 In each case, we collect information about you only in the extent it is necessary and appropriate to fulfill our commitments to you and your employer, as well as to improve our Services. Our objective and purpose when processing your data, is accordingly to provide you with great Services.

2    OUR RESPONSIBILITY

2.1 We are, as long as otherwise is not stated, the so called “controller” of your personal data under Swedish and EU legislation. This means that we are responsible for our processing of your personal data. However, we may also process your personal data on behalf of your employer, when asked to do so for your employer’s own purposes. In such cases, your employer is the controller of your personal data and responsible for the processing thereof. 

3    DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

3.1 Your personal data can be visible to your employer who administrates the account.

3.2 We undertake not to sell, rent or trade your personal data to any unaffiliated third party or third party that we do not commercially cooperate with, without your permission, unless under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation.

3.3 However, we may share your data with third parties to facilitate, provide and perform the Services or to assist us in analyzing how the Services are used, though still only for the purposes specified in this Policy. In such cases, we remain responsible for our third party provider’s processing of your data. Such third parties have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

3.4 If our company (Match2One AB) or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that we would go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information including personal data is one of the assets that would be transferred or acquired by a third party (in order for them to be able to keep providing the Services). You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of our company may continue to use your personal data as set forth in this Policy.

3.5 We do not disclose your personal data in other ways than as described in this Policy.

4    YOUR RIGHTS

4.1 You have the right to access your personal data that we process as controller, once annually, free of charge. To use this right, you must send us a signed letter to our registered address (found below). You are further entitled to demand that we cease to treat some of your personal data. Please note that if we receive such demand, you will no longer be able to access the Services. However, you are not entitled to demand that we delete personal data that we are under legal obligation to keep.

4.2 We will process your personal data in accordance with the Policy for as long as you are a registered user of the Services or to the extent necessary after deregistration. You are, of course, free to deregister at any time.

5    EMAIL

5.1 We may occasionally send you emails to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with our products.

5.2 If you do not wish to receive such emails, you may however opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in our email.

6    COOKIES

6.1 A cookie is a string of information that a website can store on your computer and that your browser provides back to the website each time you return to the site. We use Google Analytics on our Website to identify and track visitors and users, their usage of the Website, and their Website access preferences. If you do not wish to have cookies placed on your computer, you must set your browser to refuse cookies altogether before using the Website. You are of course free to do so, but then you might not be able to use all parts of the Website and our Services since they may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

7    SERVER LOGS & NON PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

7.1 Like most website operators, we collect non personally identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as your browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose for collecting such information is to better understand how our visitors and users use the Website. From time to time, we may release such information in the aggregate, for example by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website. The information is always used in an aggregated manner, and is never linked back to any personal data, unless to identify anyone who is using the Services or the Website in an unauthorized manner.

7.2 We may furthermore collect statistics about our users and Website visitors. Such statistics are derived from personal data and other data, but forfeits its personal character once aggregated.

7.3 If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish your request in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. However, the request will be anonymized and not traceable to you.

8    SECURITY

8.1 Even though we take the security of your personal data seriously, please keep in mind that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is entirely secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data and to make sure it is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy. We can however never guarantee its absolute security.

9   CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

9.1 Although most changes of this Policy are likely to be minor, we may change it from time to time and in our sole discretion. We encourage you to frequently check this page for any changes to the Policy. If you have a user account, we will contact you via email you if we make material changes to the Policy. Your continued use of this Website or Services after any change in this Policy, constitutes your acceptance of such change.
