How to pause a campaign, stop, or reactivate it

Pausing a campaign

To pause your campaign:

  1. Go to the Campaigns section and locate the campaign you want to pause in the Campaigns table.

  2. Click on the 'edit' button - you'll be directed to the editor mode.

  3. Under the campaign's name at the top, locate the status information. Next to it, you'll find a 'pause' icon. To pause your campaign simply click on this icon. In a pop-up window, we'll kindly ask you to provide a reason for pausing your campaign.

  4. Once done, your campaign status will be now Paused.

Note: A Paused campaign is temporarily suspended from activity. You can always reactivate a campaign in Paused status.

Stopping a campaign

To stop your campaign:

  1. Go to the Campaigns section and locate the campaign you want to stop in the Campaigns table.

  2. Click on the 'edit' button - you'll be directed to the editor mode.

  3. Under the campaign's name at the top, locate the status information. Next to it, you'll find a 'stop' icon. To stop your campaign simply click on this icon. In a pop-up window, you'll be given a choice to either spend the remaining funds for this campaign and then stop the campaign or stop immediately and transfer the remaining campaign funds to your Match2One account, so you can spend them in other campaigns.

  4. Depending on your choice, your campaign status will be now Stopping (if you choose to spend the remaining funds) or Stopped (if you choose to stop the campaign immediately).

A Stopping campaign will continue to spend the remaining balance in a campaign. A Stopped campaign will stop spending immediately.

Note: While it is possible to reactivate a Stopping campaign, a Stopped campaign cannot start spending again, so we recommend you pause your campaign instead to prevent losing its learnings.

Reactivating a campaign

To reactivate your campaign:

  1. Go to the Campaigns section and locate the campaign you want to reactivate in the Campaigns table.

  2. Click on the 'edit' button - you'll be directed to the editor mode.

  3. Under the campaign's name at the top, locate the status information. Next to it, you'll find a 'play' icon (it won't be available for every campaign status). To reactivate your campaign simply click on this icon.

  4. Once done, your campaign status will be now Active.

Note: You can reactivate campaigns with specific statuses: Paused, Stopping, Ended.
